So, you’re planning your big day, and you’ve got your heart set on a garden wedding. Well, let me tell you, you’re in for a treat! As a professional photographer who has had the pleasure of capturing a number of garden weddings, I can attest to the sheer beauty and romance of these outdoor celebrations. But before you say “I do” among the blooms, let’s dive into everything you need to know about finding your dream garden wedding venue.
There’s just something about the beauty of nature that adds an extra touch of romance to weddings. Picture this: exchanging vows under a canopy of trees, surrounded by fragrant blooms and lush greenery – it’s like something out of a fairytale! Garden venues offer a romantic backdrop for your special day, creating a romantic atmosphere that you and your guests will never forget.

Now, let’s talk logistics. When it comes to choosing the right garden wedding venue, there are a few key factors to consider. First up, location. Think about how far you’re willing to travel and whether you want a venue that’s easily accessible for you and your guests. Next, consider the size and layout of the venue – is it spacious enough to accommodate your guest list and any special features you have in mind?
Garden wedding venues come in all shapes and sizes, each offering its own unique charm. You’ve got your public botanical gardens and parks, with their meticulously manicured landscapes and breathtaking backdrops. Then there are private venues like The Gardens at Uncanoonuc Mountain, in Goffstown NH, where you can enjoy exclusive use of the grounds for a truly intimate celebration. And let’s not forget about vineyards and wineries like Birch Wood Vineyards in Derry NH, which offer a rustic yet elegant setting for garden weddings.

So, how do you go about finding your dream garden wedding venue? Start by doing your research and making a list of potential venues that catch your eye. Then, schedule tours and site visits to get a feel for each venue in person. As you explore, pay attention to the scenery, amenities, and overall vibe of each location. And don’t be afraid to ask questions – after all, this is your big day!

When you’re touring wedding venues, it’s important to ask the right questions to ensure you’re making an informed decision. Find out about availability, capacity, and pricing options. Inquire about catering and bar services, as well as any restrictions or policies the venue may have. Be sure to ask if the venue has a backup or alternative location for your ceremony in case it rains. And don’t forget to ask about outdoor amenities and accommodations for your guests – after all, their comfort is key!

Once you’ve found your dream garden wedding venue, it’s time to start personalizing! Get creative with floral arrangements and décor to enhance the natural beauty of the venue. Consider incorporating personal touches and meaningful elements into your ceremony and reception spaces. And don’t forget about the photo opportunities – work with your photographer to make the most of the venue’s landscape and features.
And there you have it, your ultimate guide to discovering your dream garden wedding venue. Whether you’re saying “I do” in a public park or a private venue, one thing’s for sure – your wedding is bound to be a day to remember. So, embrace the magic of nature, soak in the romance, and get ready to start your forever among the blooms. Your dream garden wedding awaits!

Located in the heart of the Lakes Region of New Hampshire, Cold Spring Farm proved to be the perfect backdrop for Eden and Zach’s rustic and Lakes Region wedding day. Capturing the essence of this celebration was nothing short of amazing.
The breathtaking mountain views set the stage for an intimate ceremony that unfolded against the natural beauty of Alton NH.
Eden and Zach exchanged vows against the backdrop of the fall foliage and Alton’s mountain peaks, turning the setting into a scene that was both romantic and awe-inspiring.

Cold Spring Farm, with its beautiful barn and open fields, provided an amazing setting for the celebration. Additionally, the couple, accompanied by family, friends, and horses that roamed the fields, added a touch of charm to their special day. These beautiful creatures became unexpected yet delightful addition to the guests.

Obviously, as you might expect, one of the highlights was the sunset photos with the horses. As I captured the warm hues of the setting sun, Eden, Zach and the horses created images that radiated both romance and tranquility.
The barn came alive with laughter and music as Eden and Zach danced the night away surrounded by their loved ones. The rustic charm of the venue added an extra layer of warmth to the festivities, making it a night to remember.

Once the the dancing ending the evening concluded with a sparkler exit that illuminated the night, marking the end of a day filled with love, laughter, and unforgettable moments.

I am truly honored to have been chosen to photograph Eden and Zach’s wedding day. My goal was to create photographs that not only capture the joy and romance shared by the newlyweds but also showcase the beauty of Cold Spring Farm.
For one thing, Eden and Zach’s wedding at Cold Spring Farm was a testament to love, nature, and the beauty of New Hampshire’s Lakes Region. Cheers to the newlyweds and may the celebration always continue!

As the vibrant hues of autumn painted the White Mountains of New Hampshire, I had the absolute pleasure of documenting the love story of Sandi and Emily at the beautiful Waterville Valley Resort. Nestled in the heart of the white mountains, this wedding was a celebration of love, laughter, and the breathtaking beauty that surrounded us.
The day began with a heart melting first look on the bridge in the town square. Against the backdrop of the White Mountains, Sandi and Emily shared a beautiful and intimate moment that set the tone for the day. The joy and anticipation in their eyes were a testament to the deep connection they shared.

The vibrant foliage provided a gorgeous and ever-changing backdrop, creating a perfect setting for every shot. Each photograph captured not only the love between Sandi and Emily but also the natural beauty that surrounded them.
One of the most touching moments of the day was when Sandi and Emily exchanged vows. Personalized and sincere, their words resonated with everyone present, weaving a narrative of commitment, growth, and enduring love. It was a privilege to capture these raw and emotional moments that truly reflected the essence of their relationship.

Adding an extra dose of charm to the ceremony was the presence of Sandi and Emily’s adorable lab puppy. This furry family member was not just a spectator but an integral part of the celebration. The love shared between the couple extended to their four-legged friend, making for heartwarming moment.

Sandi and Emily know how to throw a party! The reception was a blast of fun, dancing and energy. From heartfelt toasts to the dance floor, every moment was a celebration. Thank you, Sandi and Emily, for allowing me to capture the magic of your wedding day. May your journey together continue to be just as fun and exciting!

Rebecca and Sean’s wedding day unfolded in a way no one anticipated. Originally planned as an outdoor ceremony at the NH Audubon Center, the threat of rain prompted a swift change of plans. With composure and quick decision-making, the couple seamlessly moved the ceremony indoors to the DoubleTree by Hilton in Manchester, NH.
Despite the sudden adjustment, Rebecca and Sean approached the day with a positive mindset. Though the morning brought its share of weather-related stress, the wedding itself turned out to be flawless. This DoubleTree by Hilton wedding provided an elegant backdrop, creating an intimate and cozy atmosphere that complemented their love.
A highlight of the day was the private exchange of vows during their first look, adding an extra layer of intimacy to the day. It underscored the deep connection between Rebecca and Sean.
Another memorable moment was the visible nervousness on Sean’s face before the ceremony. His anticipation was a genuine reminder of the emotions that make weddings so special. However, as they exchanged vows, a transformative shift occurred. As they walked back down the aisle hand in hand he glowed with joy!

Family and friends contributed to the day’s magic, their love and support enhancing the joy of day. It was a celebration not only of their love but also of the family and friends that surrounds them.
As the photographer for this day, I embraced the challenge of unexpected weather. The DoubleTree by Hilton and its surroundings provided unique opportunities for creative portraits. Navigating through the hotel and finding hidden gems for photos became an adventure, resulting in a collection that truly captured the essence of Rebecca and Sean’s love story.
In the end, their wedding day showcased the idea that love prevails, regardless of circumstances. It was a day filled with genuine moments, unexpected beauty, and the resilience of two souls coming together. Here’s to a perfectly imperfect wedding day and a lifetime of love and happiness for this remarkable couple.
